Podcast Two: A Quilting Group is a Catalyst for Socializing

We all know how important it is to socialize, to have friends that we undertake activities with.

This week, I interviewed my sister, Sam, who has a quilting group that began over fifteen years ago. These women sew together, learn from each other and provide support for each other as their lives change.

Sam also shares an insight she learned from ‘orphan’ quilts and blocks. These blocks and quilts were left unfinished when women moved from the farm the to city, and in the process, lost their close connections.
